WELCOME TO THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF THE BATHS MUSEUM
The Roman Baths are one of the themes of Antiquity represented by the painting of the neoclassical period. These leisure and relaxation environments were reflected with an idealism, colour and matchless beauty by the Dutch painter Lawrence Alma-Tadema. He was known for his works of historical themes, many of them focused on the Roman period.
Next, we show a selection of some works where the painter expresses, mainly with female figures, the activity of patrons through different areas of the Roman baths.
